I am not kidding when I say reading The Pool Boy by Penny Wylder made my glasses fog up and more than once which made reading a little difficult. This is one hot read right from the start to finish. Vera Caldwell is born into wealth, she is expected to follow in her father's footsteps and work for the family business. Her dreams as a architect has a different view than her fathers, which leads her to wanting to get back at her dad by flirting with the landscaper/pool boy. Vera never thought that this little rendezvous would ignite a instant sexual attraction and he becomes someone she can tell her worries and goals to. James London is helping his best friend out by working on the Caldwell home for a week. It was suppose to be landscaping and pool services but Vera Caldwell had other things in mind. James knew what the homeowners daughter was flirting with him to piss dad off so he decides to turn up the heat and he sure damn did. James meets all expectations when it comes to satisfying Vera, his past and personality makes it easy to fall in love with him.
Hello pool boy! If I had a pool, I would love if James was my pool boy.Right from the get go I was totally sucked into this story and couldn't get enough of it. The characters and story were so easy that I never wanted it to end. There was just something about Vera and James that really made them standout. Even thou they seemed so different and from different worlds, they just fitted perfectly together. I think I was cheering them on the whole time I was reading the book. When they finally did get together, I had to go have a cold shower; it was just that hot.Can't wait to see what this author comes up with next.
This was my first Penny Wylder book, and definitely not my last. The book pulled me in from the first page until the last. It was a quick, hot, romantic read. James is not the type of guy Vera usually goes out with. She's trying to make her dad mad and James doesn't care. He wants her anywhere, anytime he can. Once he has her he can't let go. What started off as a summer fling, turns into a hot passionate romance.Thank you Penny for opening my eyes to your writing and having turning me into a fan.
I rarely give 5 stars, so you know if I am giving it,The Pool Boy earned it!Not only is this book Penny Wylder sexy, she made me feel LOVE! To have a romance book actually deliver romance and sizzle is a rare gem!James is NOT a millionaire! Yeay! Vera is a capable, smart woman making real life decisions! Yeay! Their relationship and connection is so sweet! Neither of them are fake or over the top. I really hope more books like this are coming!
Its a sweet story about choices and of course sex. The author does a great job with creating likable characters that you want to root for. The relationship is straight out of Hallmark Channel but a bit more substance as Vera realizes she’s really not as caring as she thought as she jumps to conclusions and does really care to ask basic ‘get to know you’ questions.It’s a good story with a bit of preachiness at the end. If you’re looking for a feel good story, this is it.
Great Book I really enjoyed the story line. I liked James from the beginning and the scene in the shed by the pool was hot 😉ðŸ‘.I enjoyed to see Vera stand up to her dad about her career path that made her happy. James and Vera completed each other and I read the epilogue hot sex scenes. James brought Vera and her dad together. Keep up the good work Penny.
I want a James London of my very own for keeps forever and always. This alpha male is hott, hott, hott and he's intelligent. He likes to built and create thing with his hands that are for the good of others. He melts the heart and he sets fire to the sheets too! Hott dang!!! The things that man can do with his hands and his mind could be illegal but is going to arrest him? Lol. This was a really hott read and James is a really hott creation of a man.
this is a very erotic short story, approximately 80% is xxx. So if you’re looking for hot steamy lust this should be a 5 âï¸for you. It’s well written and very hot. But I like a little more depth, more romance so that’s the reason for my 3 âï¸.You can get an extra epilogue if you follow a link at the end of the story.
