It's a good book with lots of pictures but very few words. I feel like a lot of explaining was left out.. for example how long things need to be, how to braid or make the coils. These things are very important but he does state at the end that he purposely left those things out relying on the reader to already have knowledge of these things. I disagree because if I already had knowledge I would not have bought the book. I'm still giving four stars because I really like his work and have always followed him on YouTube. Possibly if another book is wrote in the future maybe add some more detail or specify that this is primarily a picture book.

This tutorial requires previous wire weaving and coiling experience. Although the text has some quirky translations, the excellent photos help make it understandable. I was able to follow the directions easily.

This is a really good book for a crafter with some wire experience. The instructions are great and very clear. Love the detailed pictures!!

Edward Dennis O’Connor, C.S.C., a specialist in mediaeval theology, notes in his preface that the subject of the Virgin Mary's Immaculate Conception was first discussed about the year 1100. The doctrine was defined by Pope Pius IX in 1854 after about seventy-five years of "what was perhaps the most prolonged and passionate debate that has ever been carried on in Catholic theology." The importance of any doctrine, however, "does not lie chiefly in its history, but in its intrinsic significance as truth, and in its rank in the hierarchy of truth, which do not depend on historical contingencies." From this point of view, the Immaculate Conception is of immense importance not only for Mariology but also for the theology of the Redemption and of the Church. The essays in The Dogma of the Immaculate Conception are broad-ranging studies both of the history of doctrinal development and the major aspects of the doctrine. It includes chapters ranging from "Scripture and the Immaculate Conception" to "The Immaculate Conception in Art,” over fifty illustrations, and an exhaustive bibliography of the European literature on the doctrine published from 1830 to 1957. Contributors include: Monsignor Charles Journet, Monsignor Georges Jouassard, Francis Dvornik, Cornelius A. I saw our music teacher with this book and wanted one for myself to use in our elementary art classses. It is a wonderful Arts Integration book.

This is one of the most beautiful instructional books I have ever read. The author is clearly a person who truly loves children. Through her appreciation for the arts and her understanding of how children learn best she helps bring out the artist in each one of them. Looking at the pictures made me realize how lucky these children are to be with someone who encourages them to express their unique personalities and talents.I am a music teacher, a mother and grandmother and I am very inspired by this work.

Excellent addition to any Ochem textbook! I worked through these problems first after reading each chapter of the text as there are nice step by step instructions and explanations on how to solve each type of problem, as well as shortcuts and essential things to look for. I strongly believe that this was a key part of me getting an A in my class. Highly recommended!

Ordered for my college kid. These books are a great way to preread for a class. They give a thorough and fast knowledge of the material. They are invaluable as a means of filling in the gaps left by many textbooks. I highly recommend students working through the dummies books and the workbooks before taking the class. It really really helps with boosting grades.

This is a 'bundled' review for three items:'Organic Chemistry I For Dummies [Paperback]''Organic Chemistry I Workbook For Dummies''Organic Chemistry II For Dummies'I read most of the ratings for these, and then purchased them for my daughter for her second semester organic chemistry, since the first semester was such a struggle for her. She says they are helpful, and she also uses them as a reference to get a perspective on a topic that is different than what the professor may have presented in class. I know it was a gamble when I purchased them if she would use them at all, so I was pleased that she does and so it was worth it!

It was ok, my organic chemistry class was a little more complex, than some of the problems covered in the book. It's a good start, but don't expect it to help much more than that. I may have gotten one of harder professors though.

Lots of challenging questions and clear answers....great for anyone who learns best by doing.
